Spring Break Youth Mission Trip
to Hands of Hope in McDowell County, WV
Monday morning, April 13 (day after Easter)
to Thursday evening, April 16
Cost: $75 per participant plus assigned contributions of food for our shared meals

Larry Lance, Member of Greene Memorial UMC and veteran
of numerous Volunteer in Mission trips both in the US and abroad
Jenny Basham, Youth leader and teacher at Mount Pleasant UMC and
long-time teacher in the Roanoke County Schools
For: Youth in high school and older, and their pastors or church youth leaders
For further information, see the Hands of Hope website. www.hohm.org. We will be serving as they need us to serve. We will collect food, clothes and household items from our home churches for delivery to Hands of Hope. In WV we will likely be sorting items in the warehouse and the Hands of Hope shops that serve those with very limited financial resources, visiting in homes in the towns and the hollers with the HOH missionary to bring prayer and encouragement, packing and distributing food boxes, etc.

1) Check for $75. (Non refundable after March 1). Please note that each participant will also be asked to contribute by bringing assigned food for shared meals for breakfast, lunch and supper. Checks should be made out to “Mount Pleasant UMC” with the note “West Virginia Mission” 2) Participant Application Form (do not send to HOH)
3) Medical Release Form. Note: please check that your 10-year tetanus shot is up to date.
Also needed: TRUCKS OR VANS AND DRIVERS TO DELIVER items we collect at our churches. Drivers do not need to stay for the whole time but may drive there and back in one day. Any further questions?
